NUGAE Mobile Factory: large-format 3D printing comes to you
You do not go to large-format 3D printing: it comes to you. The NUGAE Mobile Factory is a demo and production unit that sets up in your facility so you can watch the robot at work, test UL-LFAM technology on your own project and produce finished parts on site.
Anyone evaluating large-format 3D printing has always faced a practical problem: to find out whether it really works for their parts they had to send files and samples, wait, and trust a video. The NUGAE Mobile Factory turns that around. Robot, patented pellet extruder, material feeding and software arrive at your facility, and the technology is judged live, on your own components.
Physically it is an enclosed modular cell: removable panels and doors, the robot with the pellet extruder inside, the print table, material feeding and drying. It sets up in a workshop like any machine tool, with no building work and no foundations, and when the job is done it moves on.

Three ways to use it
- SEE. A demo unit: the robot prints live in your workshop, in front of your engineering and production teams. No slides: you watch the bead being laid, you handle the part just finished, and in an hour you understand what “one continuous line, no infill” means.
- TRY. A test bench on your real project: bring a component you currently mould, mill or cannot make at all, and we print it together with the UL-LFAM method. You leave with a part, not with a quote.
- MAKE. A production unit: for a job, a series or a yard that wants to print on site, the Mobile Factory becomes a temporary production line, with our operators and our materials.
What can be printed on site
Everything in the portfolio: hardtops and deck parts, cores for sandwich structures in CoreLight3D®, moulds for composites, spare parts that no longer exist, furniture and sculptures. The reference material is the ultra-light CoreLight3D® core, validated across sectors for indoor and outdoor use: extremely reliable to print, machinable like wood, ready for lamination, bonding and painting.

Who it is for
Shipyards that want to understand before investing, companies evaluating an in-house NU-Hub, design studios that need to convince a client, trade shows and events where a live print is worth more than any rendering. The first unit has already been installed in Germany, at an industrial customer’s site, and the Mobile Factory is now available to customers who want to see it, try it or produce at their own facility.
